| Surrender All To Jesus. |
Many of you may know or familiar with the story of Abraham and Isaac his son. For those who are not familiar or you just forgot the story of them, let me remind you of this.
ABRAHAM AND ISAAC in GENESIS 22
This is were the Lord tested Abraham to give his only Son Isaac as an offering to God.
Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
In Bible times, every offering that the nation of Israel will offer unto the Lord will pass through the fire, there is no offering before that was in the altar that will not put into the fire.
The Lord commanded Abraham to offer his only son Isaac to God as his burnt offering unto the Lord in the Mount of Moriah.
Believe it or not, When Abraham commanded by God to go to Mount Mariah, he did not know where the exact place of that Mountain but he just fully trust the Lord that he will not be forsaken by God in the way. Second truth; Abraham did not know what God will offer Him or what the Lord will give an exchange for his son.
In the heart of Abraham, He just wants to offer his son for the Lord regardless have or have nothing to return.
The word THINE ONLY in original greek means SOLITARY (tangi), BELOVED (pinakamamahal), THE LIFE (ang buhay).
I think do you have an idea already why the Lord commanded Abraham to give his only son Isaac as an offering. GOD WANTS TO TRY THE HEART OF ABRAHAM TO WHAT EXTENT HIS LOVE TOWARD TO THE LORD.
By following Abraham to the Lord by offering Isaac, Abraham can show who is more solitary, beloved, and his life. This what the Lord wants, God wants to see who is more important to Abraham.
In this Abraham, proved his love to the Lord because he gave Isaac as a burnt offering to the Lord without hesitation, without doubt, but the Lord gave a lamb to be the offering - to be used by Abraham as an offering instead of Isaac his son. The lamb will be the burnt offering to be the sweet-smelling aroma for the Lord.
IN RETURN: GOD GIVE WHAT ABRAHAM DESERVE, HE BECAME THE FATHER OF ISRAEL (JEWS), AS THE LORD PROMISE HIM, AND ALSO KNOWN AS THE FATHER OF FAITH.
Did Abraham expect this from God? NO! Abraham just fully trusts the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Brethren
How many times did we hear the story of Abraham and Isaac? This message is not the usual message we heard from other preachers, but this message would be new to you.
The question in this message is "WHO IS "THE ISAAC" OF YOUR LIFE?" It is your family? it is your unbeliever boyfriend\girlfriend? It is your work, studies? or anything that gets more of your attention and time THAT IS YOUR ISAAC.
Will you offer that to the Lord as your sacrificial for the Lord?
We've talked about the sacrifice of The Lord, and the Lord Jesus Christ Their lives give as an offering for our own salvation. But how many times did I also told you that we need to do something to get\have the salvation God wants us to have.
It is offering our lives to the Lord as a sweet-smelling aroma before the Lord. However, how can our lives be a sweet-smelling aroma for the Lord, if we have "The Isaac" which is our solitary, beloved, and our life?
I remember when I asked the Lord, why I've never been baptized in the Holy Spirit, knowing that I am a believer of God and serving the Lord for many years and yet not receiving the Holy Spirit which the Lord promised to every flesh (Prophesied by Prophet Joel). Immediately I saw a vision of a person who I never knew that "he" became my Isaac for many years while I am serving the Lord.
The Lord wants me to give up that "man" to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I did, I sacrifice my solitary, beloved, and my life for the Lord. IN RETURN: GOD GIVE ME ONE OF THE BEST GIFT I EVER RECEIVED FROM THE LORD IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.
I believe that if you don't know who is your Isaac now, by asking who is he\she to the Lord, God is ready to show and tell you who is he\she if you are ready too. And if God shows you who is he\she or what is it, Be ready to give and surrender that to the Lord.
If God let you know now, don't hesitate to follow the Lord, because God will give you the best and greater than what you have had surrender to Him. Just fully trust the Lord like what Abraham did.
THIS IS THE DAY OF SURRENDERING TO THE LORD. DON'T BE HESITATE TO SURRENDER BECAUSE THE LORD IS NOT DOUBTING TO GIVE YOU THE BEST.
