SACRIFICE - Will you sacrifice for the Lord?

Will you sacrifice for the Lord?

We have talked about the SACRIFICE made by God the Father and The Lord Jesus for the sake of all humankind. The proof of their sacrifice was written in what many Christians called "the heart of the Bible" which is  John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

WHAT IS SACRIFICE?
It is an act of giving up something of value for the sake of something that is of greater value or importance.

GOD'S SACRIFICE
God the Father made the first sacrifice. He sacrificed that wasn't unvalued and unloved, But He sacrificed that has valued and loved for Him. He sacrifices what was in His heart without a doubt.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The word "for" in this verse means SURE and WITHOUT DOUBT. And the "world" there is not the literal world, nor the system of the world but the world here is the PEOPLE.

Now, look at this, God gave His only begotten Son, Jesus for all people without any doubt.

Who we are?
That God decided to sacrifice His most important, most precious, and unsinned begotten Son, Jesus for all of us?

Who we are?!
Romans 3:10-18
[10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
[11] There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
[12] They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
[13]  Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
[14] Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
[15]  Their feet are swift to shed blood:
[16]  Destruction and misery are in their ways:
[17] And the way of peace have they not known:
[18]  There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Therefore, Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; - God has the standard in being good or doing good. Because of sinful man deeds, we did not reach the standard of God even if we do it for the sake of many people, or we do charity works, it is not enough for God to consider us as "a righteous man".

Therefore, all of us are worthy of death! Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Even, though we are what was written above verses, still, God gave His valued (most important), loved (most precious), and unsinned Son for us who are full of sin and worthy of death and hell.

From the beginning, God has seen men as Genesis 6:5 said, And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Regardless of these God continue what was planned for all mankind. He sacrifices His only begotten Son, Jesus just for us.

WHY DID GOD SACRIFICE FOR US AS A SINNER?
The answer is simple He doesn't want anyone of us to remain sinners and to be worthy of death and hell.

Honestly speaking, God made the first men Adam and Eve, creating them - they have a date of creation but they don't have the date of their deaths. God plans for men to live not to die and how they will die. God planned creation, not destruction!

Think about this:
Meaning of sacrifice - It is an act of giving up something of value for the sake of something that is of greater value or importance.

Yes! Jesus is the most important and most precious for the Lord but what will God and The Lord Jesus do in heaven if they will see all human souls was in hell? How painful it is for them? Therefore the human soul is more important and more precious to God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

If the Lord sacrifices His most important, most precious, and unsinned begotten Son Jesus, Would you also sacrifice yourself for the Lord?

THE DECISION IS NOT TOMORROW BUT TODAY!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
