WHO IS A FAITHFUL AND WISE STEWARD - LUKE 12:41-48

In any relationship we were in, faithfulness is very important if we want our relationship to last, and to succeed in any trials, problems that we faced.

Unfaithfulness is one of the reasons why many relationships today are broken, and many people today are broken-hearted.

Spiritual speaking faithfulness also is very important if you want your relationship to God be remain good and healthy.

Luke 12:42-48
[42]  And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
[43]  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
[44]  Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
[45]  But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
[46]  The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
[47]  And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
[48]  But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

ARE YOU A FAITHFUL AND WISE STEWARD?

Luke 12:42 - 48 are one of the Parables of Jesus Christ.

What is Parable?
- The parable is not a true story, but it was spoken and taught by Jesus Christ because it has a spiritual lesson that we can apply in our spiritual lives.

Now, in this Parable, Jesus taught about the standard of a faithful and wise steward of God, that He was looking for.

What are those:
A. He is looking for a faithful and wise steward that would not be able to compromise in the world.
B. He is looking after what a steward will, and can do even no one looks after him.
C. He is looking for the faithfulness of His steward regardless of the situation he/she was in.

The Lord is looking for a servant nowadays that He could trust. Believe it or not, many Christians today give disappointments to God. We actually do what the servant in this verse did. (See verse 45). -  We do whatever we wanted to do.

Truth: This is not what the Lord planned for you why He did save you.

Many Christians say that God will tarry to come, but believe me, there are signs and wonders shown nowadays that God is truly soon to come.

As a steward we must do:
A. We must wait upon the Lord.
B. We must do our duty as Christians.
C. We must be faithful and wise in these last days.

A truly faithful and wise steward in the sight of God is the stewards who actually do whatever the Lord commands him to do. He knows or not when the Lord’s return.

BE FAITHFUL AND WISE STEWARD AS YOU DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER.

Brethren,
God gives 100% of  His trust towards you. He knows your weaknesses but He actually trusts you. When the Lord gave His trust on you he never thinks of your imperfections. But your heart that wants to serve Him that’s all matters to Him.

You are responsible to do whatever the Lord entrusted you. Even this is difficult or out of your comfort zone, you need to do those! Because if not, you belong to the group of Christians who are an unfaithful and foolish steward.

Let’s do the work while we were waiting with Him. With all our hearts do what He entrusted us. Be faithful steward, always remember God is looking after our works, and Your work will be special when you do it with the faithfulness of your heart, and this will show that we are wise stewards of God.

BE FAITHFUL AND WISE STEWARD IN THESE LAST DAYS MY BRETHREN!
