Our mind can be a playground of Satan and the Devil

In my previews blog posts about "WHAT IS IN YOUR MIND?", we have (4) four reasons why God wants us to keep in mind the Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." - It is because:

1. OUR MIND IS A BATTLEGROUND OR A BATTLEFIELD

Our mind is one of the targets of Satan for he wants to enter also in our hearts. Our mind is where the first battle begins. Read more.

2. WHAT IS IN OUR MINDS CAN DETERMINE WHO WE ARE.

Our minds can say who we are before God. What is our standing before God is always depending on what is in our minds. Read more.

3. WHAT IS IN OUR MIND IS TELLING US WHAT WE WANT AND WHAT IS OUR "MOST" PRIORITY.

4. YOUR MIND CAN BE A PLAYGROUND OF SATAN OR THE DEVIL.

The first way on how Satan and the Devil can play on our minds is by not considering God to all our plans. Read more.

Now, Our mind can be a playground of Satan or the Devil. In what way?

BY NEGATIVE THOUGHTS.

What is a negative thought?

It is a thought and words, or statement expressing rejection, disagreement, refusal, and contradiction to someone's belief, to a positive outlook, to a true/honest situation.

Have you experienced suddenly thoughts come to your mind, even not thinking of it? A thought that expresses opinion towards the situation or to someone? A thought that telling something or to someone that is not true? A thought that expresses words that refuses and rejecting you know what is true?

If yes, surely Satan and the Devil have something to do with your mind because Satan always puts on negative thoughts in our minds especially when he sees that our mind is open for a new thought.

What I’ve said in my previews blog post “WHAT IS IN YOUR MIND”, your mind has a door that can be open to Satan and the Devil depends on our will. If Satan sees that our mind is open to receive thoughts from him, he never had a double mind, he never late to ruin our minds, he never refuses our offer.

Yes! If our mind is open, we probably said this to Satan “Satan, you are welcome to be my playmate, enter into my mind.” Satan just wants a glimpse of your time, a small gap in the door of our mind for him to enter and destroy your peaceful mind.

Satan never wants us to have a peaceful mind, he wants our mind will be full of negative thoughts that bring us to feel worried, to be double-minded, to doubt God's faithfulness, to doubt someone's kindness, to live a miserable life in these last days.

That's why God reminds us to think Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

God doesn't want to see any negative thoughts in our minds, why?

1. Because what is in our mind will flow directly through our hearts, and our hearts will be filled by it.

2. Because what is in our mind will defile us.

The said reasons can affect us as Christians, it won't help us to remain our salvation, neither it can't help us remain in God.

Brethren,

Be wise nowadays on how your mind is filled with thought. Don't let Satan build his playground in your mind. Negative thoughts can affect your inner man as well as your outer man.

All things that Philippians 4:8 says must be in your mind.

I am doing something today that actually doing great in me. What is this? when the thought comes into my mind and I am sure that it is not coming from the Lord, I immediately recite Philippians 4:8.

It really helps me, I know it could help you too. Try it brethren, and you will see how powerful the word of God works in you.

I pray that the Holy Spirit teaches you to identify the works of the Devil especially nowadays that the devil double time to do all he wants to all Christians.

May we see all his attacks and plans towards us.
