Honestly speaking, while I am doing this blog, I am testing what I have written and thought about this series of messages. Well... being a preacher, a speaker they must do what they have said. Especially when in terms of doing what we've preached or shared. God is requiring us to do it also! He is looking not for how He is using us, but He is looking at what we did after we preached and shared His words.
Part of my gladness today is knowing that I am not just the one who thought by God about these messages (series of "what is in your mind?"), but also, God is reaching you out through this blog, not just to read this but also to do this! Are you happy? then, I am!
PRAISE GOD!
Let's start on Part four of the "WHAT IS IN YOUR MIND?" blog.
AGAIN THE REASON OF WHY GOD WANTS US TO THINK ONLY PHILIPPIANS 4:8, IS BECAUSE:
1. OUR MIND IS A BATTLEGROUND OR A BATTLEFIELD
Our mind has a door that can be open or closed depends on how we accept the thought that comes into our mind. We are responsible to open and closed the door of our minds. READ MORE
2. WHAT IS IN OUR MINDS CAN DETERMINE WHO WE ARE.
What we accept in our mind and we let it stay even we know that it is not from God, it flows directly to our heart that will only defile us. What is in our mind can ruin our relationship with God. READ MORE
3. WHAT IS IN OUR MIND IS TELLING US WHAT WE WANT AND WHAT IS OUR "MOST" PRIORITY.
4. OUR MIND CAN BE A PLAYGROUND OF SATAN OR THE DEVIL.
Our minds can be a playground of the devil. He has access to our minds if we open our minds to his mind. He is very determined to enter our minds because in our minds he can do whatever he wants us to do and to be, He wants to defeat us through our minds, READ MORE.
NOW...
We will focus on the number third reason and part four of this message: WHAT IS IN OUR MIND IS TELLING US WHAT WE WANT AND WHAT IS OUR "MOST" PRIORITY.
When we plan for something, or for our lives, we used first is our minds. We think and we calculate things that we want to happen in our lives.
The mind is very important. We cannot do something without using our minds, even the result of what we did is wrong, we cannot erase the fact that we used our minds.
How important is the mind in daily works, and daily life? WE CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THINKING! Because our lives are full of decision-making.
AGAIN, WHAT IS IN OUR MIND IS TELLING US WHAT WE WANT AND WHAT IS OUR "MOST" PRIORITY.
1. FIRST THOUGHT IN THE MORNING
When you awake in the morning there is a specific or particular thought that comes to your mind, right?
And I am telling you this, that what comes first in your mind when you awake in the morning is your "MOST" priority and you did "it" right away, right? – and that is telling you - WHAT. YOU. WANT!
WHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND FIRST WHEN YOU AWAKE, IS TELLING WHAT YOU WANT.
Are you an employee, a student, a household, a wife, a husband? what is your profession? what did you do these days?
Whoever you are, whatever you do, we have been created by God with the mind that we can use in our daily lives, and to set our priorities in life.
then, what is your “most” priority?
2. ALWAYS IN YOUR MIND
What is always in YOUR mind, is also telling you, YOUR PRIORITY/PRIORITIES.
Have you done doing the priority list? I’ve done this so many times, and it could help me to set and to see what’s the best number one priority. It could also help me to understand what I really need to do on that particular day or month. Doing this is also a tracking list for me to accomplished every written priority task. And motivated me to do my best just to accomplish my “most” priority.
What is your priority is always set in your mind, It won’t change or even erase in your mind because it was fixed or set on your tracking events.
Having priorities in life is important, that’s why many are working, studying, and looking for a well and good-paying job for them to succeed and achieve their priority.
Yes, how many times did I clear myself on previews blog posts that it is not wrong to have a well and good-paying job, to go to school and to study hard to achieve what you’ve dreamed of, and it is not also wrong to have priorities, But because of these things people are never a thinker of God.
Yes, they believe in God, but they set their boundaries on believing only and not taking another step to go search, find, please the Lord.
Maybe you would say that you never forget the Lord, WELL... If you believe in that, my question is ”WHAT IS ALWAYS IN YOUR MIND?” it is God? the good-paying job? Your studies, the applause of people while saying ”good job, I am proud of you”? – if that is so, I am sure God is not your number one priority or your most priority.
Brethren
The Bible said in Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
THINK ON THESE THINGS which God wants to be in our minds, is pertaining to GOD'S WORDS.
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." this verse telling us that the word of God and God is one we cannot separate them.
So, if you are thinking, meditating the word of God, you are also thinking, meditating of God.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
God thought us what to think, it is the word of God, and Jesus thought us what and who we must think first it is the kingdom of God which is also about God.
We don't have any excuse for why we can't give our number one list to God. Why?
a. Because God gave us the same hour, 24 hours per day.
24 hours are enough to be put God in our "most " priority list. 24 hours is enough to think God first before anyone or anything. 24 hours is enough to set time for God.
b. Because God gave us the knowledge to know who must be our "most" priority. - Through these series of messages.
c. Because God designed us to think for Him. - This is the reason why all mankind has a mind. To use for God alone.
We as Christians are expecting by God to think for Him because God never lost his mind by not thinking of you.
How painful for God that in a day, in 24 hours of our lives we cannot think of Him? How unequal treatment do we have with God? And when you'll be realized having your time with God is very important? When you'll be realized to give your time to God? When it is too late?
Brethren, think of these things for you'll not be late giving God what He deserves!
