A OPEN LETTER FOR CHRISTIAN YOUTH

Open letter for Christian youth

Dearest Christian youth,

In these last days, It seems that you are easily attracted and eventually fallen to your opposite sex and to the things of this world.

I wonder how and why you easily give your heart and forget the Lord?

Is his/her love is enough for you to forsake the pure love of God? Is it the things of the world enough for you to easily give up what the Holy Spirit entrusted you?

Or do you think that the Lord might understand you if you just forget Him in fleeting time?

And you let yourself do whatever you want to.

What happen to you Christian youth today, it seems that you walk and follow the crowd before you repudiate!

How many times have you heard the word of God to walk in a narrow way? Have you forgotten that the crowd is not the holy ones but the ungodly and doing things that broke the heart of the Almighty many times and the reason why until now the Lord is crying?

How many times will you burn the bridges in your past and just rebuilt them to return from your old ways? Because you think you have a long life to live.

Yeah. The blood of Jesus is unlimited that can wash away your sins. Moreover, will God the Father waste the blood of Jesus to cleanse you from your habitual sins?

Is the blood of Jesus a trifle or trinket thing for God?

God Forbid!!!

How are you Christian youth today?

It seems that you are broken-hearted but you let yourself heal yourself. You let the world heal you. You let someone heal you.

However, you never feel whole again. You never feel valuable. You never feel worthy.

Because you find healing from things that can't, won't, and never heal you.

I do understand you are happy now with someone and in the things of this world, however, is that happiness will last forever? Or even your happiness will last for a day?

I don't think so... Because if that happiness will last in a day or forever you'll never be broken. Right?

Christian youth, please do remember the old good days, when you were in the church serving the Lord.

The days when you choose to give your heart for the Lord the wholeness. the value and worthiness you felt on that day. Ecclesiastes 12:1 "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth..."

The joy when you were with the brethren doing the will of God that saved you. Psalms 133:1 "A SONG OF DEGREES OF DAVID. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

The peace that's in you even the storms, floods, and worst circumstances hits you HARD. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

The assurance that was in you even death was in front of you. Psalms 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Assurance knowing you won't be punished but have eternal life with God and having a mansion in heaven.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 14:2 "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

Christian youth, I plea stop wasting your time by doing things that will hurt you, by doing things that in the end, you regret doing it!

Do remember why the early Christian youth are strong and they were not defeated by the world but they defeated the world, and Satan can't do anything to harm them.

EARLY CHRISTIANS DID THESE:

They abide in the word of God.
1 John 2:14 "I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one."

They flee from ALL youthful lust.
2 Timothy 2:22 "Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

Because of these, they became a good example of other youth.
1 Timothy  4:12 "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

1Thesalonians 5:5 "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."

Christian youth, it is the time to reflect in the mirror which is the word of God. Let the word of  God teach you what to do in these last days.

Lastly, Be the Christian youth that the Lord expected you to be.

Have the deepest concern;
Marie
