To whom do you work for?

Work. work. work.
Work is very important in the life of many people today. This is the source where they can meet their personal needs and wants.

I could say work is an action that cannot be taken away, removed from anyone of us. It is a daily basis, a routine, or a habit that men actually do.

Have you done something that you do not want to do?

Have you done something that you love to do?

I am asking this because all we do must be dedicated not to someone special to us. Not for the family, siblings, or whosoever are special for you, and not even for yourselves.

Why did I say these?

Colossians 3:23
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;"

The word WHATSOEVER here means certain work that men do.

Therefore, whatever you do in a day it is what Colossians 3:23 about.

Do you do all things heartedlyIt is a work that is without the heaviness of the heart, without murmuring. Many people today are like, having the heart of full of heaviness and murmuring against their colleagues, to someone who asked them to do their assigned task.

It is the work that is full of love, compassion, passion, happiness, dedication, hard work, and like such things. This is the work that God is looking for in every man. Especially to all Christians.

Remember the Lord is very concerned about what we are doing right now, included here is how we are doing all things.

He commanded all men to do all things in the Lord, Colossians 3:17 "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." But how we will do that if we do not have the heart or if our heart is not there? Or how we will do that if God and the Lord Jesus was not in our heart?

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE THINGS

If we do not, do what Colossians 3:23 and 3:17 said, it has a huge impact on us and on the things that we are doing.
1. Having a heavy heart it can reflect on what we are doing.
2. We cannot do what is assigned tasks to us, in a way they and you want it to be done.
3. We cannot please anyone, especially the Lord.

Remember if we do what is written in Colossians 3:23 and 3:17, it can be noticed by your bosses, by your colleagues, and even all the people around you.

Brethren
Let us do all things in the name of the Lord. Remember all things we did here on earth will be judge by God. Ecclesiastes 12:14 "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

All things will be tested in the fire. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 [12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [13]  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. [14]  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. [15]  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Apostle Paul was talking to all Christian not only to all early Christians but today, that whatever we do here on earth will be tested. Did we invest right? We invested our time and effort, strength, our lives to the work we do and did, but if all of this will be vanished because of fire, we are SUFFER LOSS.

Why? because all things that we do is not based on the name of the Lord nor, in our heart was not for the Lord.

Brethren, be serious to all you do and do it for the name of the Lord heartedly.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
