Where are you when the grace of God found you? |
When I started hearing the life testimonies of Christians, I felt ashamed because I thought my background was the worst story a Christian could hear. But I was wrong; I was very wrong!
I suddenly understand that each of us has a background and a story to tell. We have experienced challenges that we can learn from. I believe everyone has a testimony they can reflect on to understand their lives and how they survived. These experiences shape who we are today.
TESTIMONY
A Christian testimony involves sharing your life experiences before you became a Christian. Have you ever shared with others who you were before you embraced your faith? Have you experienced telling someone about your life before you felt the grace of God?
I've done this when I have an opportunity to state it when I do soul-winning. (but not all of my life testimony, but the part which is needed in the case), In the church where I belong, and in a Christian school where I study Theology.
I think testifying is the hardest part that a Christian can do (speaking based on my experience). Why? Because you will testify not of some products that are invented but you are testifying of what product God made. PRODUCT IS WHO YOU ARE RIGHT NOW. Therefore testifying is saying a true, reliable product made by God in your life.
WHO ARE YOU WHEN GRACE FOUND YOU?
Now, I want to clarify myself. I must not be afraid nor ashamed when someone asks me, "Where were you when the grace of the Lord found you?"
I am not ashamed to admit that I am in a dark place, a situation I never want to find myself in again.
In the past, I engaged in actions that I didn't even regret at the time, despite feeling afraid while doing them. However, now, if I could turn back the clock, I would choose a different path. Instead, at a young age, I would dedicate my life to serving the Lord and living solely for Him.
But, I won't and can't back time.
Apostle Paul also tells his testimony in Acts 22:6-21 where the grace of the Lord found him.
Apostle Paul was not ashamed of telling who is he before the grace of the Lord found him. He is the true product of the grace of the Lord. That's why he is not ashamed of saying Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Why I am saying this right now? It is because Paul was a product of God that is a vessel unto honor.
Having said this, every Christian has a unique story to share, and it's wonderful to think about how our testimonies can touch others. Just like the Apostle Paul, we can be vessels of honour. Let’s make sure that the words we share carry the power to inspire and uplift everyone who hears them!
Yes, our personal testimony where the grace of the Lord found us is a powerful weapon to move all men for Christ.
Brethren
To truly share the love of Christ and inspire others, it's important to reflect on your own personal testimony—the moment when you experienced the grace of the Lord in your life.
Many people identify as Christians, but when you ask them about their journey and how they encountered God's grace, they might struggle to recall those special moments. So, take some time to think about your story; it’s a powerful tool for connecting with others.
Your unique experience can inspire and uplift those around you, showing them just how transformative God's grace can be. Celebrate your journey, and don't hesitate to share it—your story might just be the spark that leads someone else to discover their own faith!
I want to share something important with you. When we talk about the incredible ways the Lord has touched our lives, especially that unforgettable day when His grace found us, it's a moment we can never let slip from our memories.
The feelings we experienced and every little detail of that day are etched in our hearts. Let's keep that memory alive and vibrant within us! It serves as a beautiful reminder of hope and love that inspires us to carry that light into our everyday lives.
While we were testifying, REMEMBER IT CAN ALSO FEEL BY THE PERSON HEARING YOUR TESTIMONY.
YOUR TESTIMONY MUST BE TRUE AND RELIABLE PRODUCT OF GOD THAT CAN ALSO CHANGE PEOPLE'S HEART FOR GOD.
Be not ashamed of testifying the Lord! why?
1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
2 Timothy 1:8-9 [8] Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; [9] Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
John 15:27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Psalm 119:46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
Letter for my Brethren
I pray that we have the heart to testify every good work God is doing to us. I plead the Blood of Jesus to cover you in Jesus' name, Amen.
