God's Forgiveness

Ask God's forgiveness today. His arms are open to accepting you as His own.

In my preview blog the "What is the real meaning of Repentance?", We understand how important repentance is, right? not only to God who is waiting for us to repent but most especially to US (believers or non-believers of God) who badly need to repent for all our sins that we commit against God, by breaking first His heart and His commandments.
We know that if we never repent before God we are facing the frightening four, It is Satan, Darkness, Hell, and Death.

I know as much I don't like to face the Frightening-Four forever, you also don't like to face them, right?

But do you have questions and or cross your mind questions about how the Lord forgives us when we repent?

HUMAN FORGIVENESS

Do you experience forgiving someone? after you did that, what did you do?

Here is the thing, People are forgiving someone because they don't want to live in the darkness of the past, or pain. BUT, when that person did bad to them again, they always remember the past that happened to them with that person.

Will you consider that, as real forgiveness?

Well, if we need to know and understand what is real forgiveness, we need to look and check how the Lord forgives us in all our sins.

THE LORDS FORGIVENESS.

1 John 1:9 (KJV) "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

In that passage, the Lord will only forgive us when we confess our sins.

And two of the attributes of God were written there: FAITHFUL AND JUST will experience by those who confessed their sins.

We know, the Lord is faithful and just to every person good or bad.

And His faithfulness and being just, are shown when He forgives us in our sins.

THE DAY OF CRUCIFIXION

The day of crucifixion will be the best example of forgiveness that happened in the Bible.

Although there are lots of accounts on how the Lord forgives, not only in the New Testament but also in the Old Testament.

However, the day of crucifixion will be the best for me to show how faithful and just the Lord is.

Therefore, the whole Bible is showing the forgiveness of the Lord to all mankind. It has never been absent in the Bible. The Lord is showing His forgiveness ever since the world began.

If persecution, hurt, pain, grief, rejection, difficulties, and such same things the Lord Jesus Christ traversed!

How amazing the Lord is? He is willingly, wholeheartedly forgives all mankind.

Luk 23:34 (KJV) "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."

Yes, in this passage, the people around them, they that persecute Jesus never ask for forgiveness for all they had done.  But then, the Lord forgives them.

THE THIEF WHO IS CRUCIFIED WITH JESUS.

I believe the man who was CRUCIFIED beside Jesus at first was also persecuted by Him. But, turns out to be a believer in Jesus Christ.

Luke 23:42-43
[42] "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom."
[43] "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise."

We can see the passages above that the Lord Jesus Christ look to all mankind as:

1. He never looks at what mankind did against Him.

2. He chooses not to remember what they did, but Jesus chooses to forgive and forgets.

3. He shows how to love those that hate him.
John 3:16 (KJV) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

4. He shows how to forgive the way He teaches it in Matthew 18:21-22.
[21] "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?"
[22] "Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

He is just not a preacher but also a doer of what He preached.

5. He shows and proved that He was come here on earth to seek and save which are lost.
Luke 19:10 (KJV) "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

Brethren

We are like the thief, right?

At first, we are the one who persecutes God, by not going to Bible Studies and saying something that is against to them who are doing it.

We are like them who are going to malls, even it is God's day.

We are the ones of them who are tired and have no time of communicating with God through prayer.

And such thing, we are like the man who was crucified with Jesus and then, ask for forgiveness with God.

The Lord is not like men, who forgives us and when we commit sins again, He will remember us when we were not yet asking Him for forgiveness.

He didn't remember us and tell us negatively against us and or He did not curse us because of what we did against Him.

How faithful and just is the Lord? When we ask for forgiveness from the Lord, He cleanses us with the blood of Jesus and all our sins will be washed away by the blood of Jesus, that's why He did not see our sins anymore because the precious blood of Jesus is covering all our sins.

Therefore, once we remember what we did in the past and it results in us being discouraged, disappointed, and the worst is we feel that the Lord never forgives us, I want you to remember, it is not the Lord who reminds you of that nor it is the devil who puts in your mind that sins, BUT IT IS YOU WHO REMEMBER THE PAST AND LET THAT PAST MAKES AND FEEL YOU DISCOURAGE, DISAPPOINTED, AND TO BE NEGATIVE THINKER ABOUT THE LORD.

The devil can't get the sins that are under the blood of Jesus Christ.

Hence, this is the day that the Lord has made for all mankind to ask forgiveness from all our sins.

The Lord is waiting for us to come before Him with humbleness of heart and acknowledge that we have sinned and come short from the glory of God.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

And He will not rebuke us, he will not be angry with us, and nor He will not deny us, BUT HIS ARMS ARE WIDE OPEN TO HEAR AND ACCEPT US AS HIS OWN.

HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST THAT WILL CLEANSE US BY WASHING AWAY OUR SINS THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, AND HE WILL LOOK TO US AS IF WE NEVER COMMIT SINS AGAINST HIM.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Pray with your whole heart for the Lord.

Letter for my Brethren
I pray all of us to have the heart to acknowledge that we commit against God, by this, we ask always for the forgiveness of the Lord. Our hearts be enlightened by the word of the Lord that we might see how the Lord is faithful and just towards us.

I plead the Blood of Jesus to cover you from all harm, in Jesus' name, Amen.
