Nation needs Jesus

The year 2020 is a year that we experienced lots of things that we think it is the worst. Many are saying they want to end the year 2020 immediately and face the new year full of hope that 2021 will bring a wonderful beginning.

Unfortunately, it is not. There is a new virus that attacking many people today. Many countries are lockdown, many people are worried about the situation.

Many people today are calling for a miracle, many people are asking for peace, for a new normal society, and salvation.

Honestly speaking we are asking for a miracle, peace, a new normal society, and salvation, but we forget the most important that we should have.

Psalm 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his inheritance."

The word Blessed in Psalm 33:12 means "Happiness", "How Happy", and "More  Blessed".

Yes, the Philippines are called a "Christian Nation", right? 

Is there any wrong with this? I am proud, honestly speaking that the Philippines where I am raised and live is called a Christian Nation. But, in my mind has a question, and maybe it is also a question in you.

Is the Philippines is a Christian Nation? 

Let's think this many times, We called many gods. Right? People called many gods, there is Mary which is the mother of Jesus in flesh, Peter, John, and other names of "SAINTS" they were calling for them to protect, saves, and blessed them abundantly. 

But, forgets to call the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior, Yes, we forget to call the Lord Jesus Christ for a miracle, peace, a new society or I could say a new normal society, and salvation.

As Psalm 33:12 said a nation is blessed if the Lord which is The Lord Jesus Christ is the God who is chosen by the nation to be their God. 

Yes, a nation can choose whose will be their  God. I am telling you, WE SHOULD  PRAY FOR OUR NATION,

This is an immediate call to every one of us as a believer of Christ "PRAY FOR OUR NATION IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST"

Why we should pray for our nation in the name of Jesus?

1. Psalm 33:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his inheritance.  - That our nation must be blessed and be His chosen inheritance.

Praying in the name of Jesus is choosing that God the Father is the God of our nation. We should not call other names but the name of Jesus, if we want our nation to be blessed and inherit what the Lord is preparing for our nation. 

- By choosing God, He can protect the nation not allowing bad things to happen in that nation. Remember when Israel nation is chosen by God, to go to Canaan which is the promised land, God sent an angel to guide them, a cloud to cover them in the heat of the sun, and a fire to gives light to them at night.

- It is God who protects them from all harm. So likewise if we choose Jesus to be the Lord of our nation He also protects our nation from all kinds of harm.

2. Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - There's no other salvation given in heaven and earth but through and by ONLY JESUS CHRIST.

- I have said many times that we called many gods here in the Philippines, but many of them are not and can't save the Nation like Jesus can do. 

- Believe me or not, God never gives any power or authority to other names except for JESUS ALONE.

- Be clear as water that whosoever we called except to Jesus Christ has no power that can perform miracles, can give peace, can save the nation in these last days.

3. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life.

- We can be saved if we call another name that can not be the way, the truth, and the life because there is only one, again ONE way, truth, and life it is JESUS.

- Christian, do you want your nation to lead in the right way, in the only truth, and to the life? PRAY FOR YOUR NATION THAT YOUR NATION CALLS FOR JESUS CHRIST ALONE.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Everyone will call the name of Jesus shall be saved.

- A promise will ever be forsaken, denied by God Himself.   

- How wonderful to hear the nation calling in the name of Jesus Christ and they are all saved?! 

- But, the question is when did our nation will call in the name of Jesus? When it is too late? When there are lots of disasters, sicknesses, and diseases that without any solution?

- Cry out to God that our nation's eyes open to see the love, grace, and mercy towards to all nation, that He is waiting for our nation to call upon His name. The Spirit of blindness be cast out and the light of righteousness be seen by the nations

5. Acts 4:30 "By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus." - All signs and wonders will perform through the name of Jesus.

- We want miracles right? then, we can see the miracles of God through signs and wonders that can only perform by and through Jesus Christ. 

- It can also be seen to true believers of God through the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is performing in these last days. 

- Don't ever be tired of praying in the name of Jesus that the nation can see the works of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. 

We were praying for our self-salvation, but remember how we want to be saved, but put also in your heart the salvation of your nation.

Letter for my Brethren

I pray that our hearts be filled with the love of the Lord that leads us to pray for our nation. I plead the blood of Jesus to cover you in these last days, in Jesus' name, Amen.
