Psalm 6 A song of King David

PSALM 6

A song by king David.

In his song to God, we can feel his:
1. Weakness
2. Anxiousness
3. Weariness
4. Grief

KING DAVID FELT THESE BECAUSE OF:

1. His enemies. Psalm 6:8 “Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.”

2. He felt that God leave him. Psalm 6:4 “Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.”

In every war or battle king David fought he never felt that God leave him.

But in this case, he felt that God did leave him.

DID GOD LEAVE KING DAVID?

Believe it or not, in every battle king David fought God never leave King David, He was there to fight, to protect King David against his enemies.

Enemies of king David are also enemies of God.

Therefore whatever battle king David attended to, God was with him, his banner, and his refuge.

But this time, King David felt this because he was:
1. Weak
2. Anxious
3. Weary
4. Grief

King David let himself be like this that’s why he feels God left him

So, he prayed Psalm 6:4 “Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.”

Brethren,
When we are weak, anxious, weary, and grief we blocked our own eyes and these are the reasons why we cannot see the goodness and faithfulness of God that He continues doing in our lives.

You put a barrier between you and God.

Weakness, anxiousness, weariness, and grief are contrary to faith.

Faith will not work on you if you’ll continue to feel that way if you continue to choose to feel that negativity.

WHAT WE SHOULD DO IF WE FEEL WEAK, ANXIOUS, WEARY, AND GRIEF?

Pray!! Nothing we can do when we are able to feel those but to pray.

As King David did, he prayed full of faith.

Yes. With full of faith king David chose not to stay in negativity he felt but he rebukes it and makes his supplication before God.

We should do the same, with full of faith let's rebuke weakness, anxiousness, weariness, and grief in the name of Jesus, therefore we can see the goodness and faithfulness of God despite the battle we faced that brings us to our weakness, anxiousness, weariness, and grief.

Always remember what God did to King David in every battle he fought he won because God was with him as his banner and refuge.

The God we serve never changed. He is yesterday, today, tomorrow, and FOREVERMORE!

God will protect you and in every battle, you faced you will be won because God is your banner and refuge!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Letter for my Brethren

I pray your weakness will be your strength. Your anxiousness, weariness, and grief will fade and be replaced with happiness and peace that comes from God.
Your heart be filled with faith, love, that will bring you to trust in the Lord’s strength that he can lift you in times of battle, in Jesus' name.
I plead the blood of Jesus to cover you from all harm, in Jesus' name, Amen.
