What are the desert road in a Christian life?

You are not alone in your desert road.

WHAT IS A DESERT?

Desert is a large barren area, a dry place. Not all plants and animals can stay and live in the desert. It is hard also for a man to stay and live in a desert.

We have such a definition of a desert, but you know what even in spiritual there are times Christians also experience being in a desert.

Spiritually speaking, Christians who are in the desert situation feels:

1. DRYNESS.

2. THEY SEE THAT THE WORK THEY WERE DOING BEFORE GOD IS BARREN OR UNFRUITFUL.

3. FEELING OF EMPTINESS.

BASED ON EXPERIENCE

I experienced such things in my life as a Christian. I'm honest to say that not all the time I experienced that I am always in my ups and a good condition, I experience lots of time that I am in the desert part of my Christian life.

I know the feeling that being in a desert is not a good feeling. It can make me feel and think that God forgets me, He's not with me, I pity myself, I became a negative thinker about myself and others in a way they were serving God.

Being in the desert makes my spiritual life dry, barren or unfruitful, and empty. I delivered myself into a situation that I don't know what to do but the last resort that comes to my mind is to quit.

Thinking that quitting is exactly an escape in the desert part of my Christian life.

ARE YOU IN A DESERT?

Are you serving the Lord but you feel you are dry, barren, or unfruitful and empty?

Do you think these such feelings are natural in spiritual life as a Christian?

Honestly, this is not a natural or normal feeling that a Christian must feel, but God letting us pass through the desert because God has plans for us to bring out the better in us.

WHAT ARE THOSE PLANS?

1. He wants to change us on every road we take.

2. He wants us to believe in Him, in every road we take.

3. He wants us to increase our faith in every road we pass through.

4. He wants to show us that on every road we were on, He is always walking with us.

REMEMBER: God never planned for our destruction even He never planned for us to be wrecked on the road we take.

DO YOU WANT TO PASS THROUGH THE DESERT ROAD VICTORIOUS?

I want to be victorious on any road I take. This desert road I undergo many times makes me feel uneasy, uncomfortable, but by the grace of God by His abundant mercy, He let me see the good thing in the desert road.

Even the last resort was in my mind was to quit, because of the things that I can't cope with anymore while I am in the desert road, thinking of this makes my heart crushed! Crushed!

I don't want you to experience what I've been traversed in the desert road that's why I make this blog to help every Christian if they will pass through the desert road or for you who experiencing this right now!

Experiencing being in a desert many times, I learned and learning more about it, and I also realize many things while I am in the desert road, and I want you also to learn and to realized these things if you were in a desert or while you are in the desert road.

WE PASS THROUGH THE DESERT ROAD BECAUSE WE NEED TO PROVE TO OURSELVES THE FOLLOWING:

1. We need God.

2. We need to be closer to God.

3. We cannot pass a desert road victorious without God's help.

4. We need another testimony from God that will and can help us to boost our faith in Him.

TRUTH: TO BE IN THE DESERT ROAD, QUITTING MUST NOT BE OUR FIRST AND LAST RESORT, BUT THE FIRST AND LAST RESORT MUST BE IN US WAS TO BE WITH GOD.

Quitting will not help us to be victorious or even give us peace of mind, but being in God and continue being with Him even we are in the desert road makes us victorious, and attached from it we will have a sound mind and anything that we need to be stronger as a Christian.

Brethren,

While we are with God, Satan will do anything for us to be weak and eventually to quit and not to finish what we have started for God.

While you were in the desert road you will feel dryness, barren or unfruitful, and empty, but if you do the will of God and the (4) four things that I've learned and realized which I've said and shared with you above, you will harvest what the Lord stored on you.

AFTER THE DESERT ROAD IS THE HARVEST TIME THAT GOD PREPARED FOR YOU.

And, always remember whatever road we take, God has a promise:

Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Pray with all your heart

Letter for my Brethren,

I pray that whatever spiritual road you pass through, may you look up in heaven and always ask for God's strength for His strength is enough to overcome all tests in every road you take. The peace of God who passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I plead the blood of Jesus to cover you, in Jesus' name, Amen.
