Matthew 15:18 - THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK

How many of you praising God because you have a tongue that can speak? How often you used your tongue wisely? Do you speak in blessing or cursing someone?

Truth: Our mouth speaks for what is in our hearts.

Matthew 15:18

“But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.”

Therefore we cannot deny what is in our hearts for our mount speaks.

AGAIN, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK

We speak what do we think are right even the person we talk with is in pain.  Are you a tactless, rude person? Talking with someone that didn’t mind what they feel?

TRUTH (accept it or not): A tackles or rude person is an unmannered person. Think about this, you are educated, a professional, but how you speak tells you that you are unmannered!

As far as I know, we can say whatever we want to say to someone nicely and properly, but we cannot hurt them.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

The Bible tells us how our tongue is powerful. We can actually kill ourselves in how we speak and surprisingly, we can also kill someone by what we speak.

1. PROVERBS 18:21 “death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Once we speak, life and death are in front of us, we can choose between them. How we speak tells us what our choice is. Life when you speak blessings and death when we speak cursed to someone.

Believe it or not, people are often saying death nowadays! Why? Because they think that it is easier to say a curse (death) rather than a blessing (life).

Do you agree with this? Hear the voice of people today, what can you hear from them?

2. JAMES 3:5 - 6 “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth! (6) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteh on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.”

A small part of the body of human beings, but it can actually send us into hell. We are ones put ourselves into hell when we speak curse to someone.

We also, let the curse we said to others do to our lives. How deceitful our tongue is?

BRETHREN

BRETHREN, these are not the LORD’s plan for you.

You cannot deny that we used our tongue every day, but please as you read this, learn to think before you speak.

Even you are mad, angry, that pushes you to curse someone, or to say a cuss word to them, REMEMBER what you speak can be heard by God, and it cannot be erased.

Used your tongue to speak blessings and not curse. Choose to live a life that you are the point of contact of blessing from God because of how you speak.

BRETHREN, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK!

PROVERBS 15:4

“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:

but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.”
