When is the last time you cry to Jesus when you pray about yourself?
It is crying like, you don't have to push yourself to cry or you don't have words to utter and you just cry.
Tonight, I used to cry to God about myself. I don't have any words to say but words of "AKO (MY NAME) AY HUBAD AT HAYAG SAYONG HARAPAN... [Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do]... and words that I know I am before the Lord.
Maybe you cry for someone about their situation, but it is different to cry before God because of YOUR situation.
For me CRY is not showing your weakness before God it is showing your need to God. Need of care, love, appreciation, and to remember.
Maybe there is a question in your mind why I pray to state my name before the Lord. Not because He doesn't know me, but because I feel I just need to say who I am before the Lord.
Remember, when Jacob wrestled against the angel of the Lord to bless him.
Genesis 32: 24 - 30
[24]And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. [25] And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. [26] And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. [27] And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. [28] And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. [29] And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. [30] And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
Jacob says his name admitting who he is before the Lord. As Jacob did, then so I. By my name, I am admitting who Am I before the Lord.
CRY.
Your tears are not showing your weakness before the Lord, your tears are the unspoken words before the Lord.
Psalms 56:8 "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?"
Our tears are collected by the Lord. That's why our tears are like a monument in the sight of God, never been forgotten by the Lord.
WHY IS THE LAST TIME YOU CRY FOR THE LORD?
The Lord said Luke 23:28 "But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and your children."
Daughters of Jerusalem or I might say, women of Jerusalem who was a follower of Jesus was commanded not to weep for Him but to WEEP FOR THEMSELVES.
Likewise, we are not only commanded to weep for our nation, lost souls, Christians, backsliders, and ministries but we are commanded to weep for ourselves.
Weep in Greek means to sob that is wail loudly.
Did you experienced crying as you'll be out of breath? that is wailing aloud. You feel the agony, sincere sadness like you don't have words to utter or even you can't explain those feelings to Him in prayers.
TRUTH: Tears are enough to say what is in your heart.
TEARS. CRY. WEEP and LET THE LORD WIPE IT.
Tears. Cry. Weep out loud to God. Because Christ will wipe your tears.
Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
Some of you might say that this verse will happen after the Tribulation period. However, the question is, WILL THE LORD WAIT FOR THE END OF TRIBULATION TO WIPE YOUR TEARS? OR HE WILL WIPE YOUR TEARS AFTER YOU CRY TO HIM THIS DAY?
The Lord will do this to you even after you weep, that's why we feel joy, love, comfort, and anything we need in that time. THE LORD WILL FILL US AS HE WIPES OUT ALL OUR TEARS.
Brethren,
What holds you to not wail aloud before the Lord?
How the lord will wipe your tears if you won't cry? If you hold your emotions?
ALWAYS REMEMBER THESE:
1. If you wail aloud before God, He will immediately wipe out your tears. This is one of the best experiences that Christians must experience.
2. If God wipes your tears attached to it, God will also erase your doubt, loneliness, fear, unloved, unwanted emotions, and thoughts and replace them with joy, love, peace, and all things that you need at that time.
When is the last time you cry out loud for the Lord for yourself?
It is His will for you to cry with Him. Like you were with your best friends and you're telling your story with Him, that you can't trust to someone else BUT HIM.
GOD IS WILLING TO GIVE YOU HIS TIME, FOR YOU TO SAY ALL THINGS THAT YOU WANT TO SAY BEFORE HIM.
When is the last time you cry to the Lord Jesus Christ, brethren?
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
Letter for my Brethren
I pray that all of us pray that we trust the Lord when we open our hearts to Him and weep aloud.
As we do this, may we see the works of God in our lives as He wipes out our tears?
I plead the blood of Jesus to cover us all in all harm, in Jesus' name, Amen.
