Peril for all Christians. Do watch!

We are in the generation where all Christians are doing things that only considering their own decisions, wants, and cares.

We are in the days where we are in the center of our own. We are self-lover and self-care. Like we only think about what will be good in us, how others will see us, and how other people will react to us.

Apostle Paul said to Pastor Timothy, that in the last days, people especially Christians will experience perils.

What are those things?: DO READ 2 TIMOTHY chapter 3

1 Timothy 3:1-2 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their selves..."

Many mentioned in 2 Timothy 3 will be peril in these last days but let us focus on the first perilous to all men, LOVERS OF THEIR SELVES.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE LOVERS OF THEIR SELVES?

The word LOVER OF THEIR SELF means in original is SELFISH

Many today are selfish. People are not thinkers of other emotions, conditions, and needs. But most people are only thinking about their own emotions, conditions, and needs.

PEOPLE WITHOUT CARE FOR ANYONE AROUND THEM.

Are you one of them?

Especially YOU as a Christian you only think of yourself?

IN WHAT WAY CHRISTIANS ARE SELFISH?

Firstly, WHEN YOU ONLY THINK OF YOUR SALVATION.

How many Christians today are just service or church attendees?

They are contented to sit, hear and study the word of God, but, sharing what they have learned to others is not their job to do.

They think sharing the word of God is for Evangelists, Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, and Teachers. Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; But, not for members of the church."

However, sharing the word of God to others is a calling of every Christians who believe, accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Matthew 28:19-20
[19]"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost:
[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

These words are not only for disciples in that time, but it is for all the followers of our Lord Jesus Christ in that time and this time.

After this, the followers of Jesus Christ didn't exercise selfishness for not sharing the word of God nor just go home and do spiritual things that can boast their spiritual life individually, but rather choose to go around the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

SELFISHNESS

This kind of character is very dangerous.

You act like normal nowadays.

You do normally in your sight nowadays.

Thinking that you are not doing anything wrong,

Maybe, you might say, you are giver in the church or to anyone in terms of money, you are exercising  faith, you think you are number one supporter of the church BUT YOU ARE MISSING ONE OF THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT OF GOD TO ALL CHRISTIAN; "SHARING THE WORD OF GOD."

SELFISH TO SHARE THE WORD OF GOD WITH OTHERS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ACT.

Imagine this kind of situation:

How many friends do you have on Social Media? They do like and share your posts, they do follow you, But you can't even post or share a word of God in your news feed?.

How many friends do you have outside Social Media? your childhood friends, Your friends when you were in Elementary, High School, College, and at work? That when you tell your ideas and knowledge about something they hear you and do acknowledge you.

Unfortunately, you are a selfish Christian that thinks only for yourself, for not sharing the word of God.

This is the day that we should be awake! The calling of God is not hidden and cannot be heard!  IT CAN BE SEEN AND CAN BE HEARD, we are just the ones who want to be selfish and forgets what people need around us.

LET'S START TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AND STOP BEING SELFISH BRETHREN.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Letter for my Brethren
I pray every one of us has the heart to give and share the gospel of Christ with others. For this is what the people need in these last days. I plead the blood of Jesus to cover and protect you in all harm, in Jesus' name, Amen.
