If we look at the world, we can see the rapid changes of things seem normal. Like having rapid changes in new trends.
But today, I want you to open your spiritual eyes and see that the world we are living in today is having dissatisfaction with all things.
People are not satisfied with their new cellphones, the size of their flat-screen TV, houses, clothes. Some are not happy with their looks, and they will easily change it by surgeries. Some are with their wives and husband, where legal separation, annulment, and divorce were made.
We are easy to change everything without considerations.
Believe it or not, the Lord is not happy with what He is
seeing nowadays. He is not happy with what is in our hearts because He found lots
of discontentment with what we have.
DISCONTENTMENT IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY THE LORD ARE DISPLEASED TO ALL HUMAN.
WHERE DISCONTENTMENT FIRST HAPPENED?
In heaven.
Heaven was a place that is perfect. But, it was ruined because of the discontentment of Lucifer. Yes, Lucifer's sin was the root of all negativity, sins, and curse in this world.
He was the god, the prince of this world.
2 Corinthians 4:4 "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
That's why we should not be shocked at why the world is very chaotic and it has the spirit of discontentment because Satan is the god of discontentment.
Until now, Satan is not contented with what he has. He is doing all things to get the affection of all men, for, he wants all that God created will be put into nothing.
DISCONTENTMENT WILL KILL YOU.
That's why the Lord teaches us to be contented with what we have. He said in 1 Timothy 6:8 "And having food and raiment let us be therewith content."
The word Content here means BE ENOUGH.
Truth: Being enough with what you have is the beginning of happiness. So, if we start to feel the things that are in us are not enough it is the beginning of discomforts and unhappiness.
The Lord said we should content if we have food and raiment. Why? Because these are the things that people can't live without. These are the essential things a person must have.
WHY THESE THINGS MUST BE ENOUGH IN US?
1 Timothy 6:9-10 [9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
If we don't know how to be contented we are the ones who put ourselves into the snare, hurtful lusts, and we are the ones who self drown to destruction and perdition.
We don't just kill our own happiness, we also kill our selves because of discontentment.
For us not to fall into love with money.
[10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Letter To My Brethren
I pray that our hearts be always filled with contentment. I plead the blood of Jesus to cover you, in Jesus' name, Amen.
